Unlike other permissions that it requires that the business brings an added value in the Spanish market, either through technological innovation, generation of skilled employment or contribution to the economic development.

Main requirements to apply for this visa

1. Submit a business plan

Must be innovative and viable.

2. Get a favourable report of the competent authority

Usually ENISA or UGE-CE.

3. To prove sufficient financial resources to reside in Spain

Minimum 100 % of the IPREM annual for the applicant and an additional 50% by a caregiver.

4. Have health insurance

Must be valid in Spain.

5. Lack of a criminal record in Spain

Also must have no criminal record in the country of previous residence.
